About Us
Kendra T. Kennedy
Born in Tampa, Florida, Kendra was raised and educated in Hillsborough County before continuing her studies at Jacksonville University, where she earned her college degree.
Following graduation, she began her career with a Fortune 4 healthcare company. Over the past two decades, through dedication, hard work, and perseverance, she advanced from an entry-level position to a corporate leadership role.
While Kendra has always valued her privacy, she has also possessed a deep desire to serve others and make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
Over the past four years, Kendra and her husband have traveled to Liberia, West Africa, where they developed lasting relationships with local communities. During her most recent visit, she witnessed firsthand the daily challenges faced by families living in remote rural villages. The experience profoundly impacted her and strengthened her commitment to helping those with the greatest need.
Moved by what she saw, Kendra organized an effort to deliver food and essential supplies to a mountaintop village, providing assistance to families who had limited access to basic resources.
That experience became a turning point. Rather than focusing solely on meeting immediate needs, Kendra and her husband began discussing ways to create lasting opportunities for the communities they had come to know. Those conversations inspired a broader vision—one centered on empowerment, education, agriculture, entrepreneurship, and sustainable community development.
From that vision, Kendra's Korner was born—a mission dedicated to helping communities build stronger, healthier, and more self-sustaining futures through opportunity, partnership, and hope.
It can be said that Kendra is truly A Woman of Action.
